A few years ago, Helge Schroeder left FSNavigator development, a flight planning success story ended with FS2004 but started much earlier for previous FS versions. I have downloaded and use FSNavigator for fs9, which is an integral part of my flights. You can find or recognize some neat and useful features in FSTramp, for FSX. I know there is an equivalent program (FSTramps) for FSX, however FSNavigartor has grown on me. During the years, many people have created planes of many kinds for fs9 which are freely downloadable. The sceneries arent too bad either in fs9.
